Why Beach Volleyball?
Beach volleyball offers a unique opportunity for athletes to develop skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. Played in teams of two, it emphasises communication, agility, and versatility, making it an excellent complement to indoor volleyball training. It’s also a pathway to collegiate scholarships, with almost 50% of college beach volleyball programs offering separate scholarship support.

From its origins on the beaches of Santa Monica in the 1920s to its official debut as an Olympic sport at the 1996 Atlanta Games, beach volleyball has become a global phenomenon. The USA and Brazil lead the way in international competition, with athletes competing on some of the world’s most iconic beaches.
